1. Introduction
Welcome to Gleam, a luxury dress rental and purchase boutique based in Amman, Jordan, operating this website at gbyshahed.com. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the rental and purchase services we offer.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or placing an order, you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. Please do not continue to use Gleam if you do not agree with them.
3. Two Types of Order: Rental & Purchase
We offer two distinct services on this site:
- Rentals — dresses booked for a fixed period and returned to us afterwards. Rentals are governed by our separate Rental Policy, which covers rental duration, late fees, the damage waiver, and cancellation terms in detail.
- Purchases — items (dresses, veils, and accessories) you buy outright and keep. Purchases are governed by our Returns & Exchange Policy.
Where these Terms and a specific policy conflict on a matter that policy covers, the specific policy applies.
4. Your Account
You may create an account with an email and password, or sign in with Google. You must provide accurate and current information and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
5. Orders & Payment
Prices may be displayed in your selected currency, but all payments are processed in Jordanian Dinar (JOD). At checkout you may pay by card or, where offered, cash. Card payments are processed through Mastercard's/Network International's secure hosted payment page — you enter your card details directly with them, and Gleam never receives or stores your full card number, expiry date, or CVV. An order is only confirmed once payment has been verified.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms differ for rentals and purchases — see the Rental Policy and Returns & Exchange Policy respectively. Where a refund is due, it is issued to the original payment method.
7. Delivery & Boutique Visits
We deliver across Jordan; delivery fees vary by governorate and are shown at checkout. You are also welcome to visit our boutique for fittings — see the Contact section below for our address.
8. Promo Codes
Promotional codes are subject to the validity period, minimum order amount, and usage limits stated for that code, have no cash value, and cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including photography, product descriptions, and branding — belongs to Gleam and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Gleam is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our services, beyond the value of the relevant order.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jordan.
